Gabi Smith

Hi, I’m Gabi! My Jiu-Jitsu journey began in 2021 after watching my brother step onto the mats for the first time—I knew immediately I wanted in. Currently a Blue Belt under Zombie BJJ, I jumped into the deep end early, competing just four months into my training. Since then, competition has become a cornerstone of my life and my game.

Here at Eastland BJJ, I help lead our Little kids and Kids classes. There is nothing more rewarding than watching our youngest students find their confidence and coordination on the mats. My goal is to make Jiu-Jitsu my life’s work—both as a high-level competitor and a dedicated coach. I am constantly refining my own technique so I can bring the best possible instruction to our team.
